Hello all! My name is Homer, the ball python, and today I'm going to tell you about my day at dominguez! Dominguez Hills is the college my mother attends, and she decided to invite me along for the inaugaration of her school's new president.

Ready? Ok, let's go!

First things first, while mother was getting my traveling tank all set up, I did a few morning lifts on the lawn.

Here I am all buckled up! Safety is very important humans, so always buckle your seatbelt.

Ah! The ceremony! Phew, was it hot! Mother and Si Si and I decided to sit on the grass instead of those uncomfortable chairs. Besides, everyone was looking at us weird, so keeping our distance was probably a good idea. Si Si mentioned that black-skinned humans are afraid of snakes, which I didn't believe for a second, but mother seemed to fall for.

(Dominguez on the left, Home lawn on the right)

The grass of dominguez was very green and very thick, much better than mother's lawn which is hard and sparse. I got to lay about the grass for a bit, that was, until a pole-lease off-sister (or something) told us mother had to put me in the bag, THE BAG! The nerve of some humans!

At first, I didn't want to be in that dang purse, I wanted to see the ceremony! Humans walked around in robes and reminded me of the wizard robes from Harry Potter. Some of them carried crosses, oh sorry, "ceremonial maces", and flags and things. It was all very entertaining.

As much as I like the heat, it got too hot even for me and I actually found the shade in the bag quite comfortable.

Since I wasn't interested in the rest of the ceremony after the neat little parade, mother decided to show me the rock garden. Here I am on one of the sculptures and Si Si's laughing at me cause I got stuck there.

I'm wasn't particularly in a laughing mood... As you can see, I still have my bluish tint that indicates I just finished shedding. I can be quite cranky after shedding so watch out Si Si! Next time you mock me, I'm bitting!

It was hitting around lunchtime, and we decided to stop by a japanese place before going on our way. There's Si Si in green, and mother wearing her sushi shirt, appropriate for the occasion I should say. The boba there is delicious!

Si Si doesn't know it, but I farted on her. xD

On our last stop of the day, mother brought me to Miss Jessie's classroom were I was shown around to the kids. I was a little nervous, especially after a couple of the kids started screaming and scooting away in their chairs. But Miss Jessie is my second favorite human. She has a a kid too, Monty's his name. It'd be nice to meet him. *hisses at mother*

So that was my day away from home! Hope you can join me next time on my next adventure!
